BUT, as you can see in the picture below, some (most, actually) merchants have bypassed Thanksgiving and shot right to Christmas. So what ever happened to THANKSGIVING??? Malls are filled with baubles and trees and glitter and SALES. Riiiight! One could decorate their home with everything needed to celebrate the biggest money maker for retailers. Isn't Christmas supposed to be about the birth of a little baby who came to teach us and save us?
Christmas is a wonderful season, but, come on, it happens after Thanksgiving……Thanksgiving, that wonderful day (meant) to be spent in gratitude for our family and friends and all our blessings.
Let us remain aware of the importance of each season!
