When I was a kid there was no such thing as a snow day; just didn't exist. Different times....
Later this morning our littlest grandson, Patrick, came for the day. I wish I could have brought him outside to make snow angels, but he is too little and would have sunk into the snow. Grandpa and I stood by the window with him, looking out at the snow falling. Patrick watched for awhile then would turn his little head with a huge grin on his face. It was as if he was learning a little about snowdays.
Snow can come in all shapes, sizes and textures...think of times when you have felt "snowed" in. The Christmas season comes immediately to my mind, and, indeed the stress of purchasing just the right gift(s), working so hard to make it all perfect....and, yes, here's my point......getting snowed under......and desperately needing a snow day. So, with only a few days left before Christmas, try to do a lot of deep breathing when you are standing in the long lines. And try to image/visualize peace surrounding you....and just maybe you won't feel snowed under.
Blessings
