Suffice it to say we had a wonderful time in Vegas, Utah and Arizona. We traveled with Jim's sister, Kathleen, and her husband, Stan. Trips with them are always adventures! Neither of them had been to any of these places, so it was fun to share in the magic moments with them. After four days in Vegas (and a couple of shows) we headed for Zion National Park. Talk about God's creation. It was so incredibly beautiful. Then on to Bryce Canyon....once again, awe inspiring. The pictures cannot fully capture the beauty, colors. THEN we headed for the Grand Canyon. Now Jim and I have been there before to visit the south rim. Yet, in taking them around, we saw things we never saw before. I wished I had a camera in my hands when they got out of the car at the grand canyon....mouths dropped open, a look of amazement on their faces, speechess! If you have never been there before, I hope you will be able to go someday. Truly it is amazing!!!!!!!!! We managed to do some hiking in each of the parks also. No, not HIKING, just hiking. Let's just say we didn't have to rent equipment.
As I look back on the trip, I am ever so grateful for yet another opportunity to view this wonder of the world!!
Thought for the rest of the weekend: Affirm yourselves for each one of you is a gift.....like no other gift.....unique in every sense of the word. And while you are affirming yourselves, how about saying hello to someone you don't know, just a smile and a greeting. You never know how that will affect the rest of their day.
Blessings and love
