She could be bitter for he died very suddenly and unexpectedly while they were on a trip….and her financial situation is anything but good. But she has chosen to trust and have faith and turn her sorrow and misfortune around so as to reach out to others. I think that is pretty remarkable.
As we continue on during this season of thanksgiving (I think every season should be one of thanksgiving), what can each of us do every day for another? How can we silently bless another with our actions, our presence, our prayer, a kind word? The list is endless and is even better when the good deed(s) performed without the receiver knowing who it was.
So that is the challenge I leave you …. and myself…..with today.
