Saturday I took the children to see Minions….none of us had seen it yet. It was awesome, loved those little yellow critters. Then great dinner cooked by myself and Chad….I'm gonna call him the Grillmeister.
Sunday they attended mass with Papa while I sang in the choir. Then it was off to our nephew's 4th birthday!!!! They had the chance to be with their cousins and aunts and uncles. Extra time with their cousins after the party was an added bonus. Even tho the distance between houses is hours away, they come together as if they'd been together the day before.
Now this all may sound mundane to some, but I've learned to appreciate every moment we are together. Each time we are together, new memories are created. Those memories are cherished, and in years to come the children will remember them. Our love for family is never exhausted; no, there's always more to share. After all, we have pockets in our hearts that are filled with so many things.…people we love….people who are sick.…people who need protection….people who have asked for prayer….There is no bottom to these heart pockets, yet no one falls out. So don't be afraid to use them.
I wish you peace….
