There isn't a person walking the face of the earth who hasn't experienced sadness, faced trials, and lived with struggles, there is still so much to be thankful for. In this bitter cold weather, I awake thinking of the homeless, those who may have had the shelter of a PADS sight until 7am. For the next twelve hours they are braving the elements......and I thank God for the shelter and conveniences I have.
When I visit patients in the hospital, I always leave knowing I am blessed to have my health and the freedom to come and go......and I thank God.
When I am with our grandchildren, I look at seven little faces, each one bursting with new life and confidence, already having made a difference in life.......and I thank God.
When I sing, my heart lifts making room for JOY......and I thank God.
When I am with girlfriends and we giggle so much til we can't catch our breath......I thank God for the love that surrounds and supports me.
When I can enter a church any day of the week, freely, openly and can be fed with the body of Christ......I thank God.
For what are you grateful?
