I hope you have all had a wonderful day! We had a wonderful time with family (including family dogs!), and the next few days will be fun, also.
There is a re-energizing that comes when we spend time with people we love. We are part of each other's stories, the stories of our hearts. I asked one of my grandchildren what he was grateful for...."I'm grateful for you, Nama," he said. He is not quite six years old and such a gentle little soul. And I knew he meant it. Another one of our grandchildren told me she was glad for family love. I will hold onto those thoughts as the insanity of the Christmas season begins in a matter of hours. If you will be part of the throngs, I hope you remember to just take a deeeeeeeeep breath while standing in line....it will ease some of the frustration.
Be gentle with yourselves.
PS I just discovered that my email adress is incorrect in the book Women as Healers: Voices of Vibrancy. The correct address should be firstname.lastname@example.org !
