If you are a regular reader of mine, you might recall an entry I wrote about "bootcamp" (my interpretation) medicine ball mania class sometime ago. Well, I had to refrain from that particular class for a couple of months because I think I broke my foot....you're gasping, right? No, what I think I did was cause a stress fracture or a bad sprain...whatever. For the past two weeks I have taken the class with different instructors once a week rather than 3 times a week. So, I get up this morning and in my mind I debate: do you reeeeeeeeally want to do this today, Rusty? Do you reeeeeeeeeally want to run up and down 10 flights of stairs? Do you reeeeeeeeeally want to run the track five times? NOPE, not today. Still, I wasn't going to forego exercising on the elyptical. So I got to the Wellness Center about 15 minutes after that class started....just in time to see the group make a mad dash up the stairs to the coveted track. And what did I do? I whispered a silent prayer for them as I proceeded to the elyptical machine......and breathed a sigh of relief even as I huffed and puffed on the machine. Ah, well, yet another mania-less class.
Thought for today
Is there something you need or want to forego today? Hey! I say go for it!!
